The technical director of "Trikolor of TV» has acted with the report at annual Conference of satellite speakers in Dubna.

On October, 28-29th, 2008 in the city of Dubna of Moscow Region there has passed 13th annual Conference of operators and users of a network of a satellite communication and an announcement of Russia. The technical director of Joint-Stock Company «National satellite company» I.L.Kotsarev who has arrived on conference as the official delegate of "Trikolor of TV», has presented to attention of professional community the report «Introduction of additional services to a DTH-announcement».

The place where the specialised forum on a satellite communication and an announcement is annually held, is chosen not casually: in Dubna the largest teleport of Russia and Eastern Europe ЦКС "Dubna", belonging to the permanent organizer of conference – ФГУП "Outer-space communication" is located. The forum traditionally collects under one roof of professionals of the world of satellite telecommunications, – representatives of domestic and foreign satellite operators, телерадиовещателей, system integrators, manufacturers and suppliers of the satellite equipment. In the report «Introduction of additional services in a DTH-announcement» the technical director «Trikolor of TV» has depicted prospects of development of services of entertaining and information character in direct satellite telecasting. As he said, these services considerably expand "scope" of satellite TV. The telescreen ceases to be simple object of passive contemplation: it becomes a communication channel, dialogue means, the environment of interactive interaction of the user with the speaker. The spectator can receive on the screen of the TV of news of the region, send messages, get acquainted and communicate «on the TV», and in the long term – to order a television content on the taste, using GPRS-connection. Such turn becomes possible thanks to the technologies of additional data transmission provided by standard DVB. Телеэкран перестает быть простым объектом пассивного созерцания: он становится каналом связи, средством общения, средой интерактивного взаимодействия пользователя с вещателем. Зритель может получать на экран телевизора новости своего региона, отправлять сообщения, знакомиться и общаться «по телевизору», а в перспективе – заказывать телевизионный контент на свой вкус, используя GPRS-соединение. Такой поворот становится возможным благодаря использованию технологий дополнительной передачи данных, предусмотренных стандартом DVB.

Of services about which there was a speech at conference, spectators «Trikolor of TV» are familiar with some not by hearsay (EPG, TV-chat). With others – for example, TV-mail, TV-pipe and the Musical casket – they only should get acquainted. The technical director «НСК» has underlined that the majority introduced «television services» direct analogues on the Internet (e-mail, YouTube, iTunes have, forums and chats). Considering that many users of satellite TV live in the settlements which almost have been not captured by "a world web», these possibilities partly can be considered as alternative to "traditional" Internet services. Технический директор «НСК» подчеркнул, что большинство внедряемых «телевизионных сервисов» имеют прямые аналоги в Интернете (электронная почта, YouTube, iTunes, форумы и чаты). Учитывая, что многие пользователи спутникового ТВ проживают в населенных пунктах, почти не охваченных «мировой паутиной», эти возможности отчасти могут рассматриваться как альтернатива «традиционным» Интернет-сервисам.

«I am convinced that the future – behind an interactive content, – was noted in end of the report by Mr. Kotsarev. – Its share will constantly increase. Certainly, for high-grade work with such content at the user the return communication channel should be organised. As it will be realised – will show the further development of interactive services».
